Our mission
Condell Medical Center EMS System is committed to being the premier provider of EMS education based upon innovative, effective, and professional processes.
Our Goal
To prepare Paramedics who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession.
Competence includes knowledge (facts, figures, concepts, and ideas), understanding (relationships among these, the context, what is important), skills (analysis, decision-making, communication, getting results, building teams), and intuition (timing, methods, and processes, staffing, and approaches). (Burke & Cooper, 2013)
The Advocate Condell Medical Center Paramedic Education program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
