Rehabilitation services for adults
Community Rehabilitation Services for adults includes full range of treatments in each of the three core rehabilitation therapies:
- Physical therapy focuses on the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal and neurological problems
- Occupational therapy includes our specially trained therapists, including and certified hand therapists with expertise in hand and finger tendon injuries, fractures, burns and joint replacements
- Speech-language therapy in which each licensed pathologist is an advanced-degree graduate of an accredited college program with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

Specialty programs
- Pediatric Alternatives in Creative Therapy (PACT): A unique medical support service in Lake County for children and teens with neuromuscular disorders. Learn more about the PACT program at Advocate Condell.
- Balance and vestibular rehab services: Your treatment plan will incorporate specialized therapies like eye exercises, balance activities and gait training to address your unsteadiness, dizziness and/or lightheadedness.
- Women's health rehab services: Women tend to experience unique challenges according to their life cycle; we’ve developed specialty programs – like pelvic health rehabilitation, the osteoporosis program and pregnancy and post-partum rehabilitation – to address them.
- Return-to-work program: Assesses an injured worker's work readiness based on objective findings that indicate an ability to tolerate regular-duty work tasks on a safe, competitive and consistent basis.
- Bladder health and incontinence services: If you experience frequency, urgency, leaking when coughing, sneezing, squatting or lifting, there is hope to regain control of your bladder without surgery.

- Bradley Counseling Center (Affiliate of Allendale Associates): Mental health services include: psychological testing, counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, families, couple, and individuals with problems ranging from short-term adjustments to more severe or long-standing psychological, emotional or behavior disorders. - United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Chicago: Information and resource service for individuals with disabilities, their families, caregivers, educators and others. - Youth and Family Counseling: Work with families of children with special needs and family issues that arise from the special demands of families. Services also offer counseling by qualified psychiatric social workers and psychologists to individuals and families concerning parent-child, marriage and individual problems.
